Re: Urgent Matter Regarding Custody of My Eight Children – Case No. [Insert Case Number]
Dear Honorable Justices,
I am writing to bring to your attention a deeply distressing matter concerning the custody of my eight children. Since 2017, I have been completely deprived of any contact with my children, and they were taken from me without any allegations of abuse or neglect. This situation has caused unimaginable pain and suffering, and I am seeking the Court’s intervention to address the gross injustice that has been done.
Despite the absence of accusations of harm towards my children, the custody proceedings resulted in my losing all access to them. For over six years, I have fought in court to restore even minimal visitation, but I continue to be met with resistance, even though there has been no legal or factual basis to justify the ongoing separation.
Throughout these years, I have worked closely with counselors and psychologists, who have consistently vouched for my stability and capability as a mother. However, their assessments and my repeated requests to reunite with my children have not been appropriately acknowledged in the court process. The ongoing denial of access to my children without valid grounds is a violation of my parental rights and deeply detrimental to the well-being of my children.
I humbly request that this Court review the circumstances surrounding my case and the decisions that have led to this prolonged and unjust separation.
I believe that a fair and thorough examination will reveal the absence of any justifiable reason for this continued deprivation of my rights as a parent. I am confident that reuniting with my children is not only in their best interests but also essential for their emotional and psychological well-being.
Furthermore, I respectfully ask that the Court consider the impact this prolonged separation has had on my children. The bond between a mother and her children is irreplaceable, and its disruption over these many years has undoubtedly taken a toll on them. It is imperative that justice be served in this matter, not just for my sake, but for the sake of my children, who deserve a loving and nurturing relationship with their mother.
I kindly request your immediate attention to this urgent matter and ask that the Court take any necessary steps to rectify the situation and allow me to reestablish contact with my children. I am fully prepared to cooperate with any reasonable conditions the Court may impose to ensure that the reunification process is conducted in the best interests of my children.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to your response and to the opportunity to have my case heard so that justice can finally be served.
Sincerely,
Aubrey Erickson
